walking, rambling and hiking. Located in the small hamlet Tres
Postos only a 10 minute from the town Castanheira de Pera.

da chanca - a 5 acre farm on the
eastern slope of a small valley running north from the River
Coura. Most of the property is used as grazing land, guests are
of course welcome to stroll in the pastures. The remaining area
is used as gardens and, in addition to a wide range of kitchen
garden vegetables, we grow vines and have planted several new
citrus trees to accompany the existing orange tree and the
mature olive tree which overhangs the swimming pool. The three
houses of the property are located on the uppermost terrace and
the middle house is used as a holiday cottage. Reiki
treatment/tuition and printmaking/painting tuition are also
available.

do Barranco da Estrada - The Quinta has
been built from a ruin discovered by the present owners while on
their honeymoon. Set in unspoilt countryside it has a stunning
view over one of
Europe’s cleanest lakes. Highly individual, it
caters for a wide spectrum of travellers and holiday seekers who
seek premium quality. Its electricity is supplied by a clever
mix of solar and a generator so quiet you won't know it's on.
Its food, for the most part grown locally and organically, now
has an international reputation mirrored by its fantastic

peak cottage -
The Peak Cottage is located at the Pico Alto locality in a small
parish named Santa that belongs to the village of Porto Moniz.
It's a recent construction that was designed and built from
scratch, with architectural strokes of a rustic simplicity and
made in a traditional Madeirian style, in order to create a
relaxing environment and to provide a pleasant comfort,
healthful rest and a self catering accommodation to those who
intend to recover the lost energies from the active urban life.

karuna - This house is placed in Monchique the
”garden of Algarve”, in Picota. It is surrounded by
orange-trees, lemon-trees, fig-trees and almond-trees. It can be
compared to an oasis. Monchique is very famous because of the
spa, the medicinal and therapeutic waters. The house is far from
the noise and from the traffic, it is recommended to people who
look for calm and introspection. The place has beautiful
panoramic view till the sea.

do pereiro - Pereiro, as locally known is an old
farm, which has been revived by its present owners since 1990.
The farm consists of the main house which has been built using
the old foundation, the guest house is 100 metres from the main
house and can accommodate five persons. From the house there are
spectacular, breath taking views of the mountains and it has a
very quiet and peaceful environment for those seeking
relaxation.

do veloso - situated 4 miles from the beautiful
fortified hill-top town of Elvas, with its magnificent Roman
aqueduct, in a wonderfully unspoilt part of Portugal. The
countryside consists of rolling hills of olive trees and holm
oaks, with fortified hill-top villages and castles. The
farmhouse is a spacious traditional building which has been
sympathetically modernised and equipped to a good standard. It
has a 10m x 5m swimming pool and there is also a magnificent
pool with slides in the nearby village of Varche. There is
excellent local bird watching.
