description : Villa Agni is one of the original houses in Kavalaraina, which dates back to the 1920's. The villa was restored in the 1990's and was the first to do so in the area, keeping its original features wherever possible. The thick stone walls at lower levels will keep you cool even in the hottest days of the summer.

The three levels of original landscape make Villa Agni a hidden treasure that promises peace and tranquility. The bay of Agni is 400m walk, so the house not only enjoys uninterrupted seaviews, it is also within walking distance to one of the most exclusive bays of Corfu . Villa Agni is ideal for those wishing to experience traditional village life and get away from everything, while remaining within walking distance to the sea.

Please note that Villa Agni is not suited to the less mobile.

accommodation:

The villa is split into three levels. On the higher level (main entrance), there is the main sitting area with DVD player (a few DVDs are provided) & a large balcony overlooking Agni bay & Albania. The main bedroom is also located on this level.

On the middle level you will find the main kitchen with a cooking oven, 4 rings & sitting area. A second smaller kitchen is located next to it, with a microwave, preparation area, a full fridge & recycling point.  Small dining room with mini HiFi. Two toilets with showers (one has a small washing machine). Large terrace with sitting area & barbeque.

On the lower floor you will find a small second bedroom, with DVD player. This is the lowest point of the house and also the coolest.  It is on the same level as the swimming pool& is normally used as a sitting/resting area from the sun. Door leading to swimming pool.

Our change over day is usually Monday,  however we will accept bookings during other days.

We are trying to keep on top of all environmentally friendly procedures available in Greece, we are trying to save on water (and are about to buy gadgets that will show clients how much water they are using), we give instructions to our clients on how to save on electricity, especially in old renovated properties like ours. We recycle our waste, which was something introduced in Corfu last year.

On top of that: we employ local people & we train them to be as professional as we are. We recommend places which produce biological products & promote the local traditions, such as all Roggia farm products.
